Forensics Blood Type

A blood-group is or blood-type is a identification of blood on the presence or absence of inherited antigenic substances on the surface of the red blood cells.

Major Types of Blood

There are four different major types of blood which are the blood types A, B, O, and AB which can be both considered positive and negative. The AB blood type can receive blood from any kind of blood cell, and the O blood type has a the use of giving blood to any type of blood cell. All of the blood types together form one group called the ABO blood group system which is found in the human blood transfusion which are associated with the associated anti-A antibodies and anti-B antibodies, which are usually produced in the first years of life by sensitization to environmental substances such as food, bacteria and viruses.

Comment on Ability of Blood Mixing and Transfusions

Blood transfusing is the organized process of transferring blood from one person to another person who is in need of that blood. Blood transfusions are given to increase and enhance the blood's ability to carry oxygen, to restore the body's blood volume when someone has lost plenty of blood, to decrease the blood clotting, and improve a person's immunity to infection. Their is a liquid part of the blood which are blood components which include red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, immunoglobulins, or a fresh frozen plasma.

What is meant by Positive or Negative Blood Types?

Like before there are a four different types of blood types in the ABO blood group system which are A, B, O and have a positive or negative. Their are results of getting a positive or negative in any kind of blood which means if people with A positive blood types can gain A positive, A negative, O positive, O negative; and can be safely given to people with A positive or AB positive blood types. People the blood type of B can gain A negative, A positive, O negative, O positive; and can be given to people with A negative or AB negative.

Comments and Analysis on Lab Findings.
  • They say the darker the blood the more its positive.
  • The lighter the blood is the more its negative.
  • The blood sample giving to us seems more positive because of the darker fluid in the blood.
  • The blood added with the antigen-A turned blue.
  • The blood added with the antigen-B turned yellowish-orange.
